Biography
Sina graduated from Karsruhe University in Germany in June 2011 with a Master of Science degree specialising in sensor Systems Technology.
After receiving his education, Sina moved to Canada and started working at AML Oceanographic in Sidney, BC Canada as an electrical engineer in the research and development department. In his role as an Electrical Engineer Sina was responsible for the design process for new oceanographic sensors. He works closely with the Solutions Architect, helping to transition electronic design concepts from alpha and beta stages through to the release to the production floor. He was the point person for the production team on all issues related to the use of boards and board firmware.
In 2013 he joined Aquanetus, started working on the cannabis sensor project- code name iMilieu. He leads a team of engineers to develop a sensor to detect the presence of cannabis based upon an electro chemical reaction of the target air borne organic molecules typically associated with marijuana, i.e (tetrahydrocannabinol as shown), with a specially prepared receptor surface.
He also developed a specific data fusion algorithm to extract the information in the sensor signal ensures detection of the presence of cannabis over a wide range of environmental conditions.
