Biography
Dan Perrin is a former U.S. Committee on Foreign Relations staff member where he served for more than seven years, as well as staff to the U.S. Senate Steering Committee. Mr. Perrin has been credited by some as being “the driving force behind the establishment of Health Savings Accounts.” He has lobbied on behalf of Health Savings Accounts for more than two and a half decades. He co-authored “America’s Health Care Crisis Solved,” with J. Patrick Rooney. Mr. Perrin has been quoted in virtually every major daily newspaper in the United States including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times, the Miami Herald, and in newsmagazines like TIME. Mr. Perrin is also the author of HSA Road Rules, considered by bankers and insurers to be the “bible” of the HSA industry. Mr. Perrin has had extensive experience influencing the outcome of elections and legislative battles. Mr. Perrin graduated from the University of Massachusetts, and holds a BA in Political Science and History.
