Biography

Allison has worked for Artisan Entertainment, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, New Line Cinema, 20th Century Fox, Miramax and Dreamworks SKG as Assistant Director, Production Manager, and Producer working with such titans as Jerry Bruckheimer, Michael Bay, Timur Bekmamvetov and Tim Burton.

She was one of the key business strategists behind The Blair Witch Project marketing campaign, leading the team responsible for revolutionizing the way the Internet and film marketing were viewed. Starting her career with Larry Hagman and the original cast of Dallas, Allison began her career on the most globally known show on the planet. After a successful year working as an Assistant Director on the Emmy award winning show Wishbone Allison participated in VH1’s first rockiest and country fest. Stars included musical legends such as Jewel, Counting Crows, Matchbox Twenty, The Wallflowers, Leeann Rimes, Wynonna Judd and Randy Travis to name a few.

After a successful run with VH1 Allison was invited to come and work in Los Angeles for legendary Producer Michael B. Seligman filming the Oscars and the Emmys as well as IMAX’s All Access Pass that matched a music legend with a contemporary artist. All Access, which was presented by CERTS, featured live performances by rock superstars such as mega Grammy-winner Carlos Santana, Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20, George Clinton, Mary J. Blige, B.B. King, Trey Anastasio from Phish, Sting, Sheryl Crow, Moby, Kid Rock and Macy Gray. The artists were filmed for presentation on the world’s largest screen in the days surrounding the Grammy Awards ceremonies.

Success flowed while Allison made the move to work on several motion pictures in Los Angeles catching the eye of Artisan Entertainment and invited to help design the marketing campaign for their new purchase The Blair Witch Project. After a successful campaign and supporting ‘discovered’ footage for the Burketsville 7 and Shadows of the Blair Witch of Showtime and HBO Allison quickly rose through the ranks and CoExecutive Produced the Blair Witch WebFest. Rivaling the most prominent traditional bricks and mortar fan conventions, the Blair Witch WebFest featured live streamed programming and engaging interactive events including participation from the worldwide community of horror and science fiction fans, genre specialists, horror film directors, actors, comic book writers, animators, game developers and soundtrack artists. The three-day WebFest began at 9am Pacific Time on Wednesday, October 18, 2000 and ran for a continuous 64-hours straight. WebFest registrants had the opportunity to enter to win the Blair Witch WebFest Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes prize included a private screening of Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 with Manson himself. Blair Witch Webfest was among the first Social Networking Events to make a large splash, combining film, music, and more. Also of note was the onlineonly Soundtrack called the “WitchMix” which featured tracks from notable artists, and newcomers supplied via Iam.com, a now-defunct website. To this day, the Festival has held the distinction of being the longest live web event in history revolutionizing the way the Internet and film marketing were viewed.

Allison is thrilled to join forces with veteran AgHemp film Producer Diana Oliver of Thunderbird Productions, as Executive Producer/Celebrity Liaison/Social Media Director for the Hempsters Documentary Film Series. The Hempsters Documentary Film Series debut film is multi award winning ‘Hempsters Plant the Seed’, starring Activist/Actor Woody Harrelson, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Alex White Plume, Julia Butterfly Hill, and Ralph Nader to name just a few.  Being a lifelong proponent for Industrial Hemp for Farmers, and Medicinal Hemp, Allison began her love affair with Hemp at a youth. From Hemp Products to Hemp Medicines, she acknowledges the Social/Economic impact that the reintroduction of Hemp for Farmers in the USA can bring to boost our Economy, and will assist the five part Hempsters Doc/film Series, to a revolutionary social media outreach while filming across 23 US States and 9 Provinces of Canada, slated for the Summer of 2015.
