Biography

Dale is based in Oakland, focused on enhancing the debate for cannabis policy reform throughout the country since 2007.  She took over as President & CEO of Oaksterdam University to ensure the legacy of cannabis education, with over 25,000 students from more than 30 countries becoming the most active cannabis policy reformers in the world.   Quality training for the cannabis industry is her passion, and believes education is the foundation for establishing the political and social climate that will encourage cannabis policy reform.  She has a voice in setting national priorities, and is an expert commentator on current events. When the media needs a credible source for information, Dale is the frequent go-to expert.  Oaksterdam University is a business and horticulture college that educates patients, professionals, growers and regulators founded in 2007.  With 150 subject matter experts on faculty, OU educates regulators, medical and legal professionals, investors, patients, cultivators and regular people wanting to learn more about the cannabis industry.

Spokeswoman for the Prop 19 Campaign in California, now Chairwoman of the Board for the Coalition for Cannabis Policy Reform, Dale is also a founding Board Member of the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), Californians to Regulate Medical Marijuana (CRMM) and co-founded the Medical Cannabis Safety Council (MCSC) in 2008, which spawned several safety programs and businesses.  Dale and her husband, veteran drug policy crusader Jeff Jones, stay busy keeping up with their young sons, Jackson and Jesse Jones.
