Biography

Keith McCarty is the CEO and founder of Eaze, the leading on demand medical marijuana technology company. Responsible for the overall vision and direction of the company and more broadly, a voice for patients benefitting from medical marijuana.

McCarty was a founding team member of Yammer in 2008, growing sales and marketing from one person to over 350 employees globally and contributed to the white-hot investor interest in workplace productivity software. Four years later, he helped sell the company to Microsoft for $1.2 billion. Looking for a way to truly make a difference in an emerging high growth sector, McCarty began focusing on developing on-demand services for the then $1.5 billion cannabis industry in 2013 (now estimated at $6 billion and growing). Launching Eaze in 2014, McCarty is recognized as a business leader as evidenced by being the youngest recipient of the San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40, being named Entrepreneur of the Year by the World of Cannabis, as well as various press accolades.

McCarty has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration on finance and marketing from Chapman University, The George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics in Orange, California where he grew up. He’s the youngest recipient of the San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40. He currently lives in San Francisco.
